DRAWING AND PAINTING WORKSHOP
FOR CHILDREN

A complete course to begin exploring art with solid academic foundations.

Ideal for children who want to learn how to draw and paint from scratch using academic techniques, develop creativity, improve fine motor skills, and explore a variety of professional art materials. Each week focuses on a different technique, with guided exercises and visible results from the very first class.

Week 4 · Acrylic

• Paint coverage

• Palette use

• Types of brushes

• Strokes and impasto

• Background layers

MATERIALS REQUIRED PER STUDENT

• Medium-weight drawing pad and 300 gsm watercolor pad.

• Pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), charcoal sticks, kneaded eraser, gum eraser, and blending stumps.

• Dry pastels (minimum 12 colors).

• Watercolor pans or tubes

• Basic acrylic paint set (primary colors + black and white).

• Assorted synthetic brushes.

• Small canvases or canvas boards.
