The Beatles: A Rare Audiovisual History

Instructor: Michael Solof

February 15, 17, 19 | 1–3 p.m.

In a repeat of last year’s sold-out course, John, Paul, George, and Ringo will guide participants track by track through the songs and albums they recorded, revealing stories and details behind the music.

Join Michael for an audiovisual history of the Beatles unlike any you have heard or seen before. The narration was culled from more than 1,000 interviews conducted over five decades. This course also features hours of rare, unreleased music; hundreds of radio programs, home demos, and studio outtakes; and videos of live performances, television appearances, and more.

Michael Solof holds a BS in journalism from Ohio University. He was curator of Geppi's Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, served for 11 years as host of Off the Beatle Track, a weekly internet program on Beatlesarama.com, and has collected Beatles rarities for more than 50 years. He is a frequent contributor to Belmo's international newsletter for Beatles music collectors.
